WORK OPPORTUNITY TAX CREDIT PROGRAM (WOTC)

WOTC is a federal hiring incentive, providing employers with a tax credit for hiring individuals from any one of eight targeted groups.

The eight targeted groups include:

• Qualified Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC)/ or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients
• Qualified Veterans
• Qualified Ex-Felons
• High Risk Youth
• Vocational Rehabilitation Referrals
• Qualified Summer Youth Employee
• Qualified Food Stamp Recipient
• Qualified Supplemental Security Income Recipient
